Equipment Rental Policies

Care & Cleaning of Equipment

Normal Wear and Tear is a part of using equipment and is included in the rental rate. Damage caused by misuse or neglect is not included and will be charged to the customer. Equipment returned dirty will also be charged a cleaning fee.

Flat Tires, Hydraulic Lines, Tracks

It is essential that the jobsite be inspected for hazards that could damage the equipment. Most damage to tires, tracks, and hydraulic lines are caused by avoidable risks in the operating environment. Customers are responsible for all tire repair, as well as service calls to re-install/replace damaged tracks. Hydraulic hoses that have been damaged by the customer will also be billed for, including replacement hydraulic fluid.

Fuel and Usage Time

All equipment that requires fuel to operate is sent out full of fuel. The equipment must be returned full or charges will be incurred. Fuel tanks are filled completely, gauges can vary from machine to machine and are not to be used to estimate a full tank.

Likewise, battery powered equipment should be recharged, if at all possible before the end of the rental period.

Problems with Rental Equipment

Equipment having malfunctions, while rare, is a part of this business. In the event that your equipment has an issue of any kind, please stop use immediately and notify the location that you rented the equipment from. The sooner we are notified, the sooner we can rectify the problem. Continued use of a malfunctioning machine not only puts the operators at risk, but can also lead to excessive wear and tear on the machine.
